Rajgad
The year 2012 starts with a trek to the most famous of forts in Maharashtra, The Rajgad (king of forts). Rajgad remained the capital of the Maratha's for 25 years, after which it was later shifted to the Raigad fort.
It was a memorable trek in the company of dear friends. We camped there for a night, enjoying the cool weather, clear skies and maggi ! After witnessing a splendid sunrise in the morning we toured the rest of the fort and returned to the base village around late afternoon.
