Ellora

The world heritage site of Ellora near the city of Aurangabad is known for its magnificient caves carved by Hindu, Budhists and Jain followers during the 5-7th century AD. It is also known for the largest monolithic temple in the world- The Kailasa Temple which is carved out of a single rock! 

Ever since they were build these 34 caves at Ellora have been a symbol of India's rich culture and heritage.

  2. I haven't been to Ellora but if not told I might mistake couple of photos here to be of that of Kanheri Caves in Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivali.
